The RAMP team of Jo, Vav, Sonya and Lucinda attended BEVA Congress 23 in Birmingham in September. The aim is to speak to as many of our Veterinary colleagues to spread the word that RAMP registrants are accountable to a industry regulator and are expected to practice to RAMP Gold Standards which are equivalent to standards expected by the professions in human care.
All of the Vets we spoke to were pleased to hear RAMP does the due diligence to ensure all registrants are qualified and maintain registration, and also they had someone independent to contact should they have a problem with any MSK practice. They were in particularly interested to note the difference between RAMP as a industry regulatory body and other groups that are professional associations.
