🐴The Saddlers Showcase🐴

RAMP council member Julia Brooks who supports our Osteopathy members, attended the Saddlers Showcase on behalf of RAMP.

The event at Saddlers Hall, in the City of London, was held to showcase and reward, work in leather, mainly tack but also other offerings varying from a gun slip to shoes. The event presented a good opportunity for networking, whilst a number were very aware of RAMP Julia was able to discuss with others the need for voluntary regulation within the NMSK industry, and our long term goal towards a change in legislation.

The Saddlers Company are investing in research to examine best practices in tack fitting, constantly encouraging British Saddlers to provide added value with knowledge and service over European competitors. There were some very interesting research presentations particularly looking at noseband fit, back excursion during movement and attention to tack fit of professional groups when assessing horse performance.
